TWIN TOWERS, Concept Model
The Twin Towers concept model was inspired (if inspired is the right word) by the New York tragedy. The concept was created as a monument, a remembrance and a symbol. The punctures in the two wood blocks symbolize the violence and the damage while the twine represents the process of healing. It is like a bandage. It also alludes to the idea of unification and strength through unity ("United we stand, divided we fall.").
