Shaffaf (the Arabic for 'Translucent') is an innovative Arabic display font that features a unique design inspired by the widely recognized colorful translucent ribbons. To achieve a spontaneous aesthetic, hues, transparency values and stem angles were generated randomly through a pseudorandom number generator. Shaffaf is an OpenType-SVG color font, featuring four distinct color variations alongside a traditional OTF font. It suits various creative projects, including web, print, and mobile applications, and is compatible with both Windows (10 or above) and macOS (High Sierra or above).
