Inspired by audio waveforms, Wave is an elegant sculpture during the day, and a versatile source of light during the night.
The design allows the user to modify the contour of the lamp, provoking different optical effects while maintaining certain symmetry.
Its body is a spine of free-rotating ellipses, which are laser cut from live-edge acrylic sheet. Their edges are then sandblasted to enhance diffusion of light.
Wave uses long-life RGB LEDs as its light source, which makes it perfect for ambient lighting.
Easy to assemble, it can benefit from flat packaging, avoiding expensive shipping and excessive material waste.
