the door handle is a unique device that besides his shape, is a functional device that commonly disappears in the vast door surface within a simple body movement, not noticing the mechanics, the ergonomics, the forces implied in that simple gesture.but what if we could see and feel this object in a different way? letting the user to emphasizes with the door handle every time he uses it.that’s what the «contortion» represents. it translates the mechanical movement of the door handle in an intense, emotive and powerful gesture. it’s so much more than simply open a door, when you are able to see and feel the composition of all the elements combined in a unique door handle design.
