Desks can often be overrun with pens and pencils, creating a haphazard environment. Organization is key. But so is being special. The "favourite pen" that we all have deserves a platform worthy of its stature.
I drew and made many different animal variations. I found the process to fold them to make them so much fun I wanted everyone to experience it, too. Flat packing the animal saves on transportation costs, storage area in a retail environment, and lets the new owners of the rabbit fold it themselves.
With a template perfected by experimentation, metal rabbit templates were made, and coated with a layer of spray paint on both sides. The gauge of the aluminum is thin enough to bend by hand, and each edge was filed for smoothness and safety. The corners of the template act as a folding guide, and allows a straight and clean bend without tools.
Illustrated directions on folding the Krolik in the proper order are included with the flat metal blank. New parents have a bit of freedom with the amount of bending they do, and can make their Krolik wave their paw, too.

Krolik

I designed and made these little metal rabbits, named Krolik, out of painted sheet aluminum. They hold a single, standard size writing utensil.
