The patchwork headboard, all hand-sewn. The character made her own clothes, so I tried to include a couple of fabrics which matched dresses she wore in the film, as if she'd made the headboard herself from her fabric scraps

Me Before You (Feature Film, 2015)
I was asked by Set Decorator, Sara Wan to assume the character of Lou for this film adaptation of Jojo Moyes' book.
I made a number of textile items for her room - the patchwork headboard and lampshade, as well as making sketches and taking photographs "in character" with a particular emphasis on colour and pattern, and a love of shoes!
