A screenshot of our team's interactive Microsoft Excel model. The spreadsheet accesses a 'Steam Tables' macro to input enthalpy values for given temperature and pressure. We used this to ensure proper thermodynamic equilibrium for each solution we analyzed.

Tasked with providing a method for utilizing wasted steam from UT power plant's boilers that are banked during times of low load. My team proposed a solution which would result in annual savings of $25,000+ and is currently being utilized at the Hal C. Weaver co-generation plant.
