Scania Maglev Truck Concept | 2016
This project was done for an interior studio I had at CCS. The brief was mostly open, but required an interior design for around the year 2050. For this concept, I researched the features of over-the-road trucks today, and decided to solve some of the spacial and long distance issues that drivers face. This concept assumes that in the future, autonomy will be a common feature in vehicles, and that cargo vehicles may be larger and have their own separate magnetic road system that transfers energy back and forth between the vehicle and the road to supply symbiotic power. The interior of the truck features an open command center with a lot of space and storage.
