Thermo Chromatic Memory Benches
A System of Benches that Change Colour Based on the Body Heat of Previous Users - When unoccupied, the bench glows a cool blue. When people come to sit, different sections of the bench turn pink as body temperature heats the bench. As people leave, the bench slowly turns back to blue, prolonging the memory of the person who last sat. Various experiments in light were conducted in the galleria, to better understand how people react to light, how the light reacts to them, and how their behaviour may be modified through the applied use of light.
