Seating Designed for Carleton University's Entry into the Annual NASA Great Moon Buggy Race - An extra-curricular project in conjunction with several engineering students. On previous buggies, rider position and seating had been after thoughts. By applying design rational to the human factors and ergonomics of the buggy the team hopes to build a faster moon buggy. The seat itself must fold into a storage position, as the entire buggy must fit into a 4x4x4 foot box. The buggy will be raced in NASA's Great Moon Buggy Race in April 2009.
