SS14 marks hummel's plunge into baselayers. Yes, we have a collection of baselayers dating back a few years, but the new HERO baselayers are a turning point in terms of technology, and we're addressing the needs brought on by gender differences. We've added a range of women's baselayers.
The HERO baselayers are pinnacle multisport products in function, offering a host of features from breathability, partial compression, thermal insulation, mobility, contouring, and antimicrobial properties......all of these characteristics are fully engineered into the garment, thus making the products even that much more functional by reducing the number of seams that normally lead to chafing of the skin.
The design language of the range is based on superheroes and the bee, as "hummel", translated from German, means bumblebee. The lines of the men's collection is aggressive and angular, whilst the women's collection incorporates softer lines that enhance the silhouette of the body.
