Loren Witzel

My Master of Architecture Thesis project focused on sanctuary. Sited in Havana, Cuba, the study explored the idea of creating an architecture in representation of a group who currently has no vernacular architecture to create a place of sanctuary that would have recognizable elements drawing from that groups values, experiences, ideas, and community.
