Electric Six Senor Smoke CD - Internationally released album by humorous disco rock group. The only criteria given was to incorporate fire and the devil. A song called "Vibrator" on the album inspired the missiles.
Ghostly International Idol Tryouts 2 CD - A compilation CD on the highly touted Ghostly International label. The geometrical design was based on the colors of three cartoon characters I created for the label at its inception. The idea was to represent a boy, a cat and a bird in this design, but not necessarily. The music is modern, avantpop, austere and the design captures this.
Real Detroit magazine cover - To accompany an article on the record label Ghostly International. The label and the paper wanted a collage of the artists in a '60s/'70s illustrative style.
forced Exposure sound System - A flyer created for a DJ night in Boston by the Forced Exposure Sound System. The objective was to convey the out of the ordinary dance music that would be played. The image was inspired by the client's provided quote from a florid poet about fish swimming in the trees!
Blanche concert poster - One of many posters that I've done for several Detroit rock venues. This one was for The Lager House. Blanche is a clever old-style country act, and I wanted to convey the romanticism of their music.
