Angel Illustration - Porcelean Angel Rendering/ Photoshopped for Scott Smith.
Coke Santa Concepts
Perpetual Wall Calander - Wizard of Oz piece that was never produced. Done as a freelance project for Mark Ross prior to my being hired full time.
Wizard of Oz Flying Monkeys - This fun piece was one of my favorites. Resin figurine is part of a series of Wizard of Oz Collector plates titled "Beyond The Rainbow"
I worked on 4 of the plates: The Wizard, the Munchkin Mayor, The Flying Monkeys, and the Lion "Winkie" Palace Guard. This piece turned out the best...
Dragons - This sculpt was one of several I designed as part of an ongoing series. Each sculpt featured a tiny hero figure with horse or other accessories and art was selected to be placed into the open wing areas of the dragons. Once my initial sculpt arrived, I would photoshop the art into the wings to get the desired "finished" look, then send this image to our overseas vendor to show cropping of art. It was a very succesful series, created by my supervisor, Scott & passed on to me to continue.
Deer Plates & Oak Leaf Plate Rack - This extremely successful plate rack design was so well liked and received by Bradford that they are currently using the basic template to feature the art of Thomas Kinkade and several other artists.
Sandra Kuck Angels - This series of Angel sculptures featuring small clear resin plates with various Sandra Kuck child angel illustrations in the center plate. Each piece had 2 angel figurines suspended on clear resin
pillars on a white marbled base with small floral
arrangements on base.
Charles Wysocki Birdhouses - This is one of 4 birdhouse designs featuring the look and style of Charles Wysocki. Once concept sketches were approved, color digital art was created for approval.
Ted Blaylock Eagle Wall Art - This first in series of eagle wall art features sculpted eagle art, beads, real feathers, and Ted Blaylock art screen printed on real tanned leather that is tied to frame with leather straps. This was a highly successful concept for Bradford at the time I designed it and continues to be so.
Munsters Plate - Rejected concept designed to appeal to baby boomers and the TV shows they loved.
Al Agnew Wolf Wall Sconces - 3 piece set of wall sconces featuring the art of Al Agnew on both the background panel and on each small glass candle holder. This unique shape has been duplicated by other Bradford Exchange developers and had different art applied to it. It's a product template that is very successful.
Commitment To Courage - 4 piece porcelain wall art set featuring the art of Mark Manwaring and trimmed in 22 carrot gold.
Wayne Wright Motorcycle Plates & Frame - I designed a faux leather look frame complete with chrome grommets, fringe straps, metal studs and chrome plate frames to hightlight the 4 plates featuring the art of Wayne Wright.
This became one of Bradford Exchange's best sellers.
Motorcycle Perpetual Calendar - This calender concept features 12 plates with the art of Wayne Wright on each months plate. The eagle shape at the top has been "duplicated" or copied as they say, and used on several other pieces of motorcycle products produced by Bradford such as rings, bags, tabletop scupts and more...
Lena Liu Butterfly Plates - This ornate plate rack was something I designed to highlight the beauty of artist Lena Liu's detailed floral & butterfly paintings. I was recently told by someone who e mailed me looking for this item that it has generated 2200 hits on E Bay!!!! Amazing!...
Elvis Plate - One of 4 different Elvis plates I designed. Each plate had a different pose and featured
art of different concerts. Plates had 22k gold
accents on them.
Sacred Spirit Angel - This Native American Angel was a wall art piece I designed to feature art in the wings.
This is also a best seller series for Bradford.
Serenity Prayer Plate - This plate design became a best seller and was the first issue in a series of plates using the art of the celebrated artist Travis Lee. It was an exact match to my original color comp, not one revision from my manager...
Coke Retro Diner Series - This Photoshop rendering was a color sketch done using several reference images provided by the art director. It was very well received, and lanched one of the most successful product lines Bradford Exchange ever had.
Church with Basket Look - This was part of a village set that had a "Bakery" theme...
Pooh Plate - This was a concept I did to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh's creation.
This idea was never produced, but very well liked by my fellow product developers...
Wizard of Oz "That Man Behind the Curtain" - Another piece I designed in the "Beyond The Rainbow" series of Oz plates done at Bradford.
This was the 7th issue in the series.
"Welcome To Munchkinland" - This item was twelfth in the "Beyond The Rainbow" series. Originally there was a munchkin flower face hiding behind the Mayor but that idea was too costly.
"Winkies In Disguise" - Another piece in the "Beyond The Rainbow" series I worked on. Originally I wanted all 3 main characters in costume, with a torch on the wall behind them, but it was cost prohibitive, ... too bad....
In 2005 I supervised design and production of these Native American Powder Horns that featured the wolf art of Al Agnew. Scott Smith my supervisor, created the series and handed off all the backend pieces to me.
Indian Brave Series - I created several "back end" products in this series created by my supervisor Scott Smith.
This fun series of Dog & Cat wall clocks featured a wagging tail device. There were
several breeds for dogs/cats. The heads were resin and relief sculpted. The challenge was to get sculpting and deco to be very realistic. Bradford was extremely happy with my results and this went on to be one of their most successful series!... and still is!...
