Grille - This is a grill for a refridgeration unit used for cooled semi trailers. This grille is formed from two sheets of 1/8" thick polyethelene sandwiched in designated areas to a thickness of .080 to bond the two sheets as well as add structural strength to the unit. The unit measures approx. 6' wide and 4' tall. I was the sole designer of the male and female molds used together to create this unit. The (2)48" x 72" x 12" aluminum billets machined to create the molds for this grille cost $11,000 each and weighed nearly 4000 lbs each, before machining.
