Seasonale - Ad for Seasonale, the contraceptive pill that allows a woman to have only four periods a year. In order to convey the message I've created a calendar that only charts four months of the year, leaving the other months blank. Not only is this eye-catching, but the message is clear.
Millennium Park - This postcard features the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, designed by Frank Gehry, in Millennium Park. I took the photography and Lynn Becker wrote the article. I love photography and feel it can be tremendously powerful in conveying a message. The interesting angle of this shot shows the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in a different way.
The Magnificent Seven - The Magnificent Seven is not only the best western movie (in my opinion), but also a new restaurant. This flyer, done with a burlap effect to mirror the film's place in time, was designed for the grand opening.
Wal-Mart - My message is loud and clear in this conceptual piece. The large business shoe represents Wal-Mart; the baby shoe represents the small mom and popshops, which Wal-Mart is stomping out of business. This subject has raised numerous issues and there are several sides to this debate. The most talked about issue is how Wal-Mart is becoming a monopoly. My design shows the monopolization of Wal-Mart and how it is creating lower standards of living throughout the country.
