Mulli Plate - 2010
Dish De-Construction through an object.
The plate Mulli has a high semantic character, as it represents their background through its forms, as well as their methods of use.
The dish represents the pyramid of Tenochtitlan, which is carrying at its peak the sacred and pleasurable, in this case, food (mole). In the channel the mole flows as water. The dish also gives permission to make Mexican gestures in these times may be frowned upon (cleaning the plate with bread), in this case the goal is to return these gestures like some part of the Mexican gastronomic culture, taking gestures and foods as part of the gastronomic rescue. (Accord to the history, Mole dish was created at prehispanic era)
It remains in contemporary colors and materials to adapt to the new design. The plate is separated into 2 pieces for easy cleaning.
