For a public art elective I decided to incorporate some of my industrial design modelling techniques that I had learnt over the years to make a casting of my own arm. Using alginate as the mold, I was able to create a one-part mold that didnt need to be split in order to get my hand out. The plaster used is called Hydrocal and gives incredible detail
