Academic project of a set of devices for laparoscopic procedures (light source and camera source). For the development of the project, technical visits were made to the medical equipment company (SAWAE) and surgical units to evaluate the products in their use environment. It was observed that the product lacked aesthetic appeal to attract consumer interest at trade shows and had no usability study. The concept focused on aesthetic development to improve the surgical environment and the visual communication of the device. Handles were added for easier transport within the environment, providing more confidence for the cleaning staff, along with the exploration of colors to create a more humanized surgical environment.
