This piece was created for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu martial arts website in Cabot, Arkansas. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the Velha Guarda Logo in the center, and I used Photoshop to blend the American flag and Brazilian flag.
The concept of using the country flags for the home country and the country native to the martial art is very common. I wanted to blend both flags in a manner that is respectful to the flags, and can be stylish for a web page layout. This is my first project that can be seen publicly and did not involve a school assignment.
