Photoshop Space Art 2016
This piece is was created using Photoshop for a course at UMUC. The course was Advanced Image Editing and was taken in the Spring of 2016. Photoshop is a widely used raster graphics editor to enhance pictures or create and compose art.
This piece demonstrates Photoshop's capability of creating artwork as a painting tool. The image contains around 80 layers of color, filters, and paint, as well as incorporated images to create the asteroid belt and the space craft. I like this image because of the concept, and because it shows the power of Photoshop as a digital art medium.
