This piece is was created using Adobe InDesign for a course at UMUC. The course was Desktop Publishing and was taken in the Spring of 2016. InDesign is used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, and magazines.
This piece is a magazine cover and it demonstrates InDesign's capability of creating content for print as well as digital publishing. This piece is a fictional item. I wanted to do a classic rock them, so I used Jimi Hendrix for the cover because he is one of the founders of rock and roll. I chose the colorful background images because it creates a cool atmosphere. I used Photoshop to crop the borrowed images, and then used InDesign for the layout.
