revealed - a set of capillary action coffee cups
REVEALED - is a set of engraved "shaffeh" coffee cups. the hair thin groves engraved are at first invisible to the drinker, yet when coffee is slowly poured, an illustration appears through the help of capillary action. tracing all through the groves, the coffee "creates" an illustration. the illustration here being the human body in it's nude form - these provocative depictions serve to break traditional tasseography, to include subjects which are considered taboo in middle eastern society.
