Peel'd is an experimental work in progress done in collaboration with Christina Skaff. The collection aimed at trying to solve two local Lebanese crises at once - the garbage crisis and the traditional handicraft crisis. Using dried fruit peels and grinds we set forth to heat press them into arabesque patterns (mainly found in the dying floor tile making sector). These skins would then be stitched into notebook covers, jewelry pendents and coin purses/wallets.
