Second Year - Go-Kart
In this Project we had to design a construction kit GoKart that children and their parents could make and then ride in.
I decided to employ the Meccano type of construction kit but to also incorporate the Hotwheels brand. I really wanted to ignite the bond between parent and child and to interest children in the world of hands on play and manufacturing.
The Meccano N1 Superkart is sold completely flat pack in all major toy manufactures for a price of approximately £250. It comes in a range of colours to suit both boys and girls.
