Wound Aid
For this project, I was instructed to design a product that dealt with cleaning wounds. After extensive research, I developed Wound Aid, the disposable adhesive pad that attaches to medical gloves. It is an absorbent material that is designed to take the place of gauze to catch wound and saline drainage as the nurse cleans wounds. Unlike traditional gauze, it does not take up an entire hand and increases hygiene alongside the nurse's productivity.
