Lok Up
This was an independent project aimed at helping the many college student bikers in Boone prevent their bikes from being stolen. Lok Up mounts onto your bike frame and has to be unlocked in order to be unmounted. It has a retractable cord that can simply and securely lock your bike into any bike rack. Lok Up prevents people from the hassle of having to remember to carry along a bike lock. When it is not in use, Lok Up can be easily mistaken for an awesome water bottle due to its placement on the frame and its bottle-like form. I won third place in Appalachian State's annual Pitch Your Idea Contest for this concept.
