This project consisted on improving the system of objects involved in hospital emergencies in countries like Colombia. It all started with the analysis of the actual state, the state of the art (London Ambulances) and the ideal state.
The next step was to gather information about the activities and subjects involved in the emergencies. After getting the information it was processed and organized in diagrams and data charts that guided the development of the concept.
Also an ambulance factory was visited to get familiar with the manufacturing processes that were available.
The objects in the ambulance were divided in 5 different subsystems: furniture (green), security (yellow), portable (red), technical (blue), distribution (gray). This helped in the design process because that way the main purpose of each object was identified and kept in mind while developing the concepts.

Finally the system for hospital emergencies was developed as an ambulance with an assistance vehicle that can transport the main stretcher around places of difficult accessibility.
The ambulance is also equipped with auxiliary stretchers that can be used to improvise an assistance point in situ when needed.
All the furniture of the ambulance and the distribution where also redesigned according to the frequency relations observed.
