I wanted to explore passive participation within the treatment rooms. I utilized Light Emitting wallpaper to create trees within the space. The light within the wallpaper could be turned on or off and the trees would move as the treatment went on.
A table could be placed in the corner while the patient received treatment or it could be brought up to the patient and included in any activity the visitors were participating in around the table.

Section - To further explore the idea of passive participation I included a stream built into the floor. The patients could watch the Koi fish swim by while receiving treatment.
Space was allotted for the IV pole behind the patient so that they could move it out of their line of sight.

Alternative Wallpaper Selection - Different types of trees could be used in different rooms so that when they illuminated it would be a different experience for the patient who would be making several trips to the treatment center.
