The Water of Life book cover design
Book cover illustration and gazelle frontispiece for an updated edition of Idries Shah's World Tales. Originally published in 1979, the tales will be republished as a limited edition series by the Idries Shah foundation. This was a great opportunity to play around with transparent layers, creating a smokey, Arabian Nights-style effect. Here's the first of the series, along with an earlier work - in - progress version.
