Modified Cuboctahedron
Modified Cuboctahedron - My goal when I was making this object was modifying the pattern of a cuboctahedron so that it would have a more organic appearance. I made a new pattern that retained a basis in geometry and cut the pieces from bristol board that I painted one side of to achieve another level of visual appeal. The windows cut into the square faces create a juxtaposition between the play of light and shadow on the inner and outer surfaces of the shapes.
