Disaster relief partition

This project was designed during the graduation in Product Design. The goal was to come up with a project to help in a local social problem. After some research, it was chosen to work with people affected by floods and other kinds of natural disasters in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
This product is a response to the complaints of unsheltered people, when living in temporary shelters, due to the disasters, who have to sleep in a huge space with dozens of other families, with no privacy.
The modular partition creates family spaces, which can be built according to the number of people. It is designed to be low cost, durable, easy to assemble and to produce.
