Ferro Fluid Pump
NASA originally designed ferro fluids to be magnetically pumped rocket fuel. But by using the magnet and coil of a speaker it is possible to observe the magnetic field fluctuations as music plays. The inner chamber is used to house the electronic components and the outer chamber is filled with alcohol, ferro fluid and tonic water. Tonic water will also illuminate under a dark light for extra effect.
