My responsibility was to estimate the cost of the unit & develop the prototype. The unit consisted of perforated Back panel with double prong hooks for product display, Illuminated Header with front & bottom illumination, Thermoformed Sidepanels, Height adjustable trays & Footer with sliding drawer for storage.
I used Pro Engineer Wildfire 5.0 & AutoCAD for the Design & development (to create technical drawings & assembly instruction manuals).
The unit made up with Powder coated steel, Thermoformed HIPS, Clear poly carbonate, and LED’s & Spot lights for illumination. All brandings are interchangeable .The highlights of the construction were the unit’s modularity & ease of assembling .It was flat packed to save storage space & shipping cost. Detailed assembly instruction drawings were provided along with the unit. This unit has been installed across the supermarkets, hypermarkets & Pharmacies in GCC.
