Vermont Tech Rebrand
Against all odds, my creative team, at SWIRE, won a competitive RFP issued by Vermont Tech. We had little to no chance, due to the fact that our agency was not located in Vermont or even in the New England states. But we persevered, came up with an amazing RFP response, and nailed it. Winning the bid came down to our capabilities, our creativity, and the fact that we obviously did our research to find out who they were. Our pitch was full of passion, and we gave them a hard excuse to rule us out based on region.
Winning the bid meant hosting several meetings, many trips to Vermont, and countless hours of study and research. All to find out "who" they really are, so that we could convey that in their new identity. Deliverables included: logos, stationery, collateral, guidelines, mission statement, voice, web concept, and signage.
We pitched the new brand reveal to the entire campus, including staff, faculty, students and community followed by a standing ovation.
