Stand Aid - Stand Aid was a short project that studied standing aids used by people with disabilities.
The object was to apply universal design to the Standing Aid to allow for different disabilities to use it.
The outcome can be seen above.
The new design features leg and waist clamps to give support.
It also uses an engineering tripod for extra standing strength and support of weight.
