Grasshopper Jewelry Structure
There were three main tasks for this project: first, to learn completely new soft – Grasshopper, second, to make a unique structure and to apply it to some kind of product, and finally, to print out the product with a 3D printer.
The structure or better to say “type of setting for gemstones was inspired by Art Deco and the natural minerals. Utilizing Image sampler function and different images of minerals it is easy to create a unique surface pattern.
The developed structure was applied to several jewelry items modeled in Rhinoceros and Grasshopper Peackock plugin.
