This garment was designed to be auctioned off at a fashion show fundraiser for Breast Cancer research. I used a crepe back satin with a burnout mesh to create this look. The peplum follows the shape of an umbrella.
French shoulder seam and neckline/ armhole facing details.
The second garment was a knit project. I designed leggings. This was the first knit pant I have done, let alone draped. The print follows the style and colors of the New Vintage theme. I used a zipper as a piping pulling in the inventions aspect.

New Vintage Semester 2

For the second semester, I decided to take "New Vintage" in a different direction. For this collection, my inspiration is different inventions from the time period. My main focuses are the umbrella, the paper clip, zippers, and braille. These pieces were all draped.
