This is a poster design for the movie Donnie Darko, created in a screen printing class at Illinois State University in 2008. The assignment was to take a humorous movie review quote and develop a poster design. Donnie Darko is a science fiction movie where the main character deals with visions and signs that the world is ending. I wanted to use imagery that captured the film, and using Adobe Illustrator, designed a rabbit symbol in an ink blot appearance. In the film, the main character visits a psychotherapist and complains that he has visions of a man dressed in a rabbit suit warning him of the world ending.
