Cabela's Annual Report
Created for my Typography class at Illinois State University in November 2009. The assignment was to redesign a company's annual report. Students were to transform the written content using the typography skills learned in class and develop a new concept.
In my design, I used an old-style serif for readability and to give the content a more natural feel. I complimented the type with sans-serif fonts on all of the charts and graphs to separate this content. I wanted the book to have the feeling of walking outdoors, which is evident in the cover and opening page dominated by color, then the following pages are gracious with the use of white space. This project was created using Adobe InDesign CS3.
