SquEase | smart garment - Squease is the result of an extensive user centred design project creating a product tailored to the needs of teenagers with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
The result is Squease, a smart garment that allows the wearer to apply pressure to their body in order to create a calming effect.
It also has integrated headphones that attenuate sounds that can cause discomfort.
SquEase is a team project with Sheraz Arif, Andy Brand and Katrien Ploegmakers and was awarded a professors' commendation.
