I worked on this set design in a group of 3 other individuals. We researched the Zulu tribe of Africa and then created a mock set. This is a 32x70 set, designed in 1/4 inch scale. We used various resources in order to complete the project: foam core, gatorboard, high density foam, brown paper bags (which we painted different shades of browns using faux painting techniques), toothpicks, moss, styrofoam balls (cut in half), hay, miniature animals and hemp string are just some of the materials.
