JOKO stool by Bartoli Design
For many years, Studio Bartoli Design has been working on a design
project for a poetically minimalist chair. The outcome is Joko: an “absolute”
product, which involved the challenge of minimising everything as far
as possible, without making it ordinary or inflexible. The distinguishing
feature of Joko is that its top, front legs, back and rear legs have been
fused into a single, soft and organic shape. It has a continuous surface
that lends itself to many types of upholstery: including leather and fabric
in different colours and types.
