This helmet aims to provide bikers with a unique hands free experience throughout the ride. The design of helmets has been primarily focused on safety over the years. The concept of technology assisting in communication while on-the-move has become widespread. Thus, the concept of smart helmets was born, a product that combines the basic functional helmet with the latest advancements in wearable technology.
The wind-powered helmet is connected to a smart phone via Bluetooth. Bone-conduction speakers and a microphone within the helmet assist the rider, rather than being a hindrance. The helmet can be connected to the Internet and exploit its limitless possibilities for useful, relevant, applications. Besides incorporating the latest advancements in technology, this helmet is designed to solve some basic usability issues such as ventilation and comfort.
