People come to hospitals to seek help. They would rather clarify their queries with another person than with a machine. As an attempt to incorporate digitization in the Government hospitals, information kiosks were set up. But this system was a failure. We concluded that the human factor cannot be removed in an Indian hospital scenario. An ideal system would involve the perfect integration of the 2 factors – human and machine. All studies were conducted at the Civil hospital, Gandhinagar.
