The Starry Night (1889) - I followed my emotions and impressions when I copy Gogh's one of his great works,
It was difficult to copy exactly same as his but it was a great experience to feel his work by myself.
The painting's actual background is Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in France. He distinguished 2 different lights, artificial lights and stars in the sky. Artificial lights look like sleepy and silent. On the other hands, stars are very bright and active. He might want to express stars as a dominant thing of the night.
