“Meiguo” The Restaurant Design Project:
The Fusion of American and Asian Cuisine brings a timeless, modern space that fuses cultural tradition with a modern point of view to create a place that is warm, spacious and sticking. Introducing brightly colored silk kimono fabrics against the very contemporary sleek black leather, custom graphic murals, and reclaimed wood will furnish the fusion of the two cultures with a modern twist. All of this together harmonized in a symbolic storytelling of the vision behind the fused cultures. The design is noticed through the combination of the textures and color to complement the tasteful cuisine and entertain the experience which is celebrated for and mimicking trends or the conventional stereotype of the Asian style design. The materials will add dimension and visual interest while combining form and function throughout the space.
