Every year, during the Christmas period, a Christmas market is set up in the center of Vilnius, near the main city square. In 2020, due to Covid-19 and the quarantine, the Christmas market could not take place, so Vilnius Cultural Center approached me to create a graphic image of the virtual market.
My goal was to create a very cozy, fun, illustrative market that resembles a Christmas fairy tale and is located in Cathedral Square, where the image of the Christmas tree was created based on the project of the real Christmas tree.
The real Christmas market returned in 2021, but its virtual version, based on a snowflake topic, remained as an alternative. So, keeping the same basis, but considering the design of the 2021 Christmas tree, I created a winter fairy tale covered in snowflakes.
