Malnutrition is a huge problem that plagues most third world countries, including Bangladesh.
Our challenge was twofold. We had to create awareness and also make people donate for this cause.
So we thought, what better time than when people eat/dine at restaurants. And what better medium than their mobile phones.
We tapped into their habit, which is seen across dining tables. People are busy with their mobiles, when they're 'supposed' to enjoy a meal with their friends and family. This is also socially rude.
We tied up with a famous meal delivery chain- Foodpanda and created a mobile app that not only helps people connect better with the people they're dining with, but also helps them donate, and earn discounts on their meal orders on Foodpanda. Isn't that a win-win situation for all!
