Compressor Housing Machining Fixture - This is a SolidWorks model of a collet fixture that is designed to hold a housing (in brown) for machining. We have to machine the surface with the three tabs in relation with the bore in the center of the part. These are castings that are sent to us to be machined so the fixture had to be a custom design that allowed for one operation of machining in our horizontal machining centers.
